Clubul Fermierilor Romani will launch in early July 2023 the first online platform called CFRO Community, dedicated to farmers and partners in agribusiness. CFRO Community is a premiere in Romanian agriculture and is an initiative of young graduates from the “Young Leaders for Agriculture” program, a major project of the Clubul Fermierilor Romani.

Clubul Fermierilor Romani community represents an essential pillar for the development of the agricultural sector, as well as for a balanced, sustainable, and inclusive rural society. This application encompasses multiple aspects, starting from the attractiveness of using a digital platform dedicated to Romanian farmers, facilitating the transition to the new generation, and developing mentoring activities. It also promotes the awareness of the importance of continuous and tailored education to contemporary needs, the exchange of knowledge and resources, and the facilitation of counseling and consultancy services, as well as meeting individual and/or collective needs.

“This extraordinary and unique application in Romania has also involved graduates from the Young Leaders for Agriculture program. This is the first application for the farming community, and initially, access is privileged for young people and club members. CFRO Community is the communication portal of this industry, an opening for everyone who wants to contribute to shaping change. The application builds a community, fostering closer connections, long-term collaborations, continuous interaction, and providing answers to all important questions, covering crucial aspects. The main purpose of the platform is to communicate with club members and all users, being the key to our strategy,” said Florian Ciolacu, Executive Director of Clubul Fermierilor Romani.

For a community with common interests, we make a pact with digitalization, and the CFRO platform is the place where everything transforms into mutual support. The application comes with a wide range of specific courses and educational materials aimed at improving agricultural knowledge and skills. CFRO Community provides news of interest, useful information, and industry updates. It promotes collaboration among users by creating groups with themes such as regenerative agriculture, conservative agriculture, digital agriculture, etc. Through these groups, a platform is provided to develop common solutions to various problems. Clubul Fermierilor Romani represents a story about community, diversity, and development for more efficient communication.

“A unique project born out of the desire to bring added value and competitiveness to our farms and, last but not least, to be the best version of ourselves because that’s what we understood from the very moment we attended the Entrepreneurship in Agriculture courses. The entrepreneur is a creator of added value, which is why they have an obligation to invest in education. How? Together. That’s how this unique project, CFRO Community, was born,” said Florin Stegariu, a member of the Board of Directors of Clubul Fermierilor Romani.

In a world dominated by technology and urbanization, farmers now have a digital platform where they can share their common passion for agriculture and environmental conservation. At the same time, they benefit from an optimal framework for solving unwanted situations in their own agricultural business. From the experience of the past four years, an individual problem often becomes a collective one, and the identification of the best solutions is naturally done collectively.
