Simona Popovici (Group Renault Romania) joins Working Romania HR Conference | HR Transformation in the Automotive Industry

Simona Adelina Popovici, HR Executive Director at Group Renault Romania, will be a speaker in the second panel at BR’s upcoming Working Romania HR Conference, titled Shaping a brighter world of work ∣ Powered by Orange. As an HR Executive at one of the most important companies in Romania, Simona Popovici will be able to shed light on many aspects involving the transformation of HR practices.

 

Simona Adelina Popovici is a certified senior expert member of the Chartered Institute Of Personnel Development (CIPD) in the UK. Before joining Dacia and the Renault Group’s activities in Romania, she built a solid career in Human Resources both in Romania and abroad. Simona was Director of Human Resources at KMG International Romania, with a global coordination for 17 countries, Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company with varied international background, with leadership roles at group level in Organizational Development, Reward and Global Business Partner. She was Director of Human Resources for Romania and Moldova at Coca-Cola HBC and Vodafone Romania. Simona Popovici has also been a consultant for companies and international institutions such as USAID, the World Bank and the Foundation for Civil Society Development. Simona Popovici graduated from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest (Faculty of Economic Engineering and Environmental Management) and an MBA program at the University of Ottawa (Canada) – School of Economic Studies and Academy of Economic Studies. Throughout her career, she has been rewarded with various international awards: the European HR Challenge, for the Multigenerational Work Environment, offered by Success Factors, and the Excellence Award for exceptional contribution to Human Resources, from Great People Inside.

As such, Simona Popovici has proved to be a culturally agile executive, embracing diversity and inclusion over the course of her 20+ years career in human resources, having expertise in Talent Management, Engagement, EVP, Change Management, Rewards and Recognition and Strategy Development, or Restructuring, coupled with a strong HR consulting background leadership skills in most disciplines and HR Transformation.
