The room was packed yesterday at the Crowne Plaza in Bucharest, where almost 100 real estate key decision makers, professionals and influencers gathered for the 21st edition of the Realty Forum, Business Review’s landmark event which turns the spotlight on the major real estate actors in Romania, revealing the most important developers, investors, builders and providers in office, residential and logistics markets. The event started out with the office panel, moderated by Vlad Damian, Head of Investor Leasing Office | CBRE Romania, which focused on office space redevelopment, the latest tenant modus operandi, ESG & green certifications, occupancy rates, forecasts, and more. The session featured Andreea Cotiga, Senior, Leasing Manager | IMMOFINANZ, Emma Toma, Head of Office Division at AFI Europe Romania, Maria Tudorică, Commercial Real Estate Manager | Genesis Property, Jan Demeyere, Co-Founder & Partner | Speedwell, and Serban Patriciu, Head of Real Estate Practice Romania | Noerr.

The second session of the day, dedicated to the industrial sector, was moderated by Daniela-Valentina Gavril, Head of Research | CBRE Romania, and focused on how to connect to the world when the country’s infrastructure is down, what are the new hot spots on the market map, construction costs, ESG impact on long-term investment. It featured Sorin Preda, CEO & Founder | Global Vision, Gabriel Tomescu, CEO | BMF Group, and Laurentiu-Catalin Hanu, Country Manager | ILD Romania.

The launch of BR’s Real Estate Guide: Major Insights into Romania’s Property Market in 2022 also took place on July 19 with the occasion of the annual Realty Forum, followed by the Readers’ Choice Realty Awards, a premiere for Business Review’s Realty Forum. The day ended of course over an evening of networking conversations and cocktails which wonderfully complement the remarkable industry event.
