Dragos Preda, State Secretary for Telecommunications at Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure and Communications, will be a speaker in the Closing Panel at the upcoming Rising Cities. Smart Future 3rd Edition, streamed live on November 18, via BR’s Youtube channel & Facebook page.

Dragos C.-L. Preda has been the State Secretary for Telecommunications at Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure and Communications since January 2020. Before this appointment, he activated in the private sector, as the founder of Orbis Conecto. Preda was also a Co-founder & Vice-President of the Bilateral Romania-Cuba Chamber of Commerce. In the public sector, Dragos Preda was also a Senior Advisory Consultant and Chief of Staff for the Romanian Ministry of Youth and Sports (2014-2017) and a Security Policy Advisor for the Ministry of Defence (2008-2014). He holds a Bachelor’s in Political Sciences and a Master’s in History of International Relations, both from the Université Panthéon Sorbonne.
