Mircea Vlah, CEO of Dumagas, will be a speaker at Business Review’s re:FOCUS on Retail & Logistics event on January 29, 2020, at the Sheraton Bucharest Hotel.
Founded in 1996, Dumagas has been one of the pioneers of the Romanian transport market, and the successful three-year restructuring plan it recently went through has brought it back to profitability and high operational efficiency, as it introduced new technologies and renewed its vehicle fleet.
Mircea Vlah graduated from the “Dunarea de Jos” University in Galati and holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the same university. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Dumagas Transport S.A. since March 2014.
At Dumagas, Vlah oversaw a successful restructuring process that took about 3 years, during which the company reviewed the internal processes, the profitability of the business lines, renewed an entire fleet of truck heads and semitrailers and upgraded the technological processes.
