Catalin Pozdarie (CEO Hervis) joins BR’s re:FOCUS on eCommerce, Retail & Logistics

Catalin Pozdarie (CEO Hervis) returns as a speaker at BR’s annual conference re:FOCUS on eCommerce, Retail & Logistics, which will take place in an online format on February 10, 2021. The Hervis Sports Romania CEO will take part in a highly anticipated panel titled eCommerce and the Digital Transformation of Retail.

 

With an experience of over 23 years in the sports & fashion retail sector, Catalin Pozdarie held various managing roles at companies such as Steilmann, Stefanel, Adidas and United Colors of Benetton. Starting in 2007 he laid the foundation of Hervis’ activities in Romania. Under his guidance, the Austrian sporting goods retailer has reached a number of 38 stores across Romania, having opened two new locations in 2020: in Targu Mures and Targoviste.

“Hervis expansion plans continued during the pandemic, the store in Targoviste being the second after the June 15th reopening. We believe that, especially now, sport is extremely important for health and we must not stop doing physical activities. We do not need performance, but only consistency, to get used to living healthy, both in terms of exercise and nutrition. We intend to be as close as possible to all those who want to live healthier and exercise. Romania is a country with a high level of sedentary lifestyle, only 7% of the population practicing a sport every week. We support everyone, offering both the necessary equipment and useful tips for practicing various sports.” Pozdarie said during the opening of Hervis’ newest store.

At the previous edition of BR’s re:Focus on Retail and Logistics, the Hervis CEO talked about the evolution of Omnichannel and the unification of all communication and sales platforms in the retail industry.

“You need to be in close contact to your customer on every channel and device and offer the possibility to interact with the brand you’re representing. There’s good progress here too. For some companies, Omnichannel only means their internal channels, but for others the concept also includes channels that are not under their direct control, such as Marketplace.” Said the CEO during last year’s event.
