#FIS2020 | Andreas Lier (BASF) joins the Foreign Investors Summit

Andreas Lier, CEO of BASF, will be a speaker in the Automotive Panel at the upcoming Foreign Investors Summit | 7th Edition, held on October 21-22 at the Sheraton Bucharest Hotel.

 

Andreas Lier has been with the German multinational chemical company since 1996 when he became the Head of Representative Office, Wolga-Ural Region for BASF Russia. He was appointed Head of Product Management for Germany, China & Taiwan in 2003, while in 2005 he became Head of Marketing for Germany. His first interaction with Romania came in 2008, when Lier became Head of Business Management for Eastern Europe, Africa, West Asia, a position he held for 4 years, before becoming Managing Director (CEO) at BASF Ukraine/Moldova/Caucasus. In 2019 he became CEO of BASF Romania.

Andreas Lier graduated from the University of Economics and Business in Hannover, Germany. He holds a diploma in Economics.
