Ramona Jurubita, KPMG Romania: Every year it’s more and more difficult to choose the winners

Attending the BR Awards, Ramona Jurubita, Country Managing Partner at KPMG Romania, member of the jury that chose the winners, talked about the difficulty they have in making sure that they check all the elements that should be taken into consideration for excellence in business. 

“I could say, that every year it’s more and more difficult to choose the winners and it’s known that Business Review has passed its major, it practically came into life with full force, because even the competitors gave us a hard time, it was quite challenging to choose. We looked at excellence, we looked at innovation, we looked at leadership, we looked at sustainability and resilience; there were a lot of things we looked at. And, of course, always after you make the first choice you have to make the second choice, to make sure you’ve been balanced and objective. However, it was an experience that we enjoyed, that we learned from as jury members and that inspired some of the models we studied on this occasion.

2024 is a year of decisions, on multiple levels, first and foremost political, we have elections in over 60 countries, but it is also a year of business choices, in which those who have the courage to bet on investments that will continue to add value to the economy believe they will reap the rewards. Of course, it’s also a leadership election year, and I hope that in 2025, this time, we will reap the rewards of that election.”
