After previous concerts in Romania in 1997 and 2008, David Coverdale and his colleagues in Whitesnake will be back in Bucharest on July 3, to play Romexpo.
On March 25, the band will launch their 11th album in Europe, Forevermore, which will be promoted through a world tour, including Romania. The new album was recorded, produced and mixed by Coverdale, guitarist Doug Aldrich and Michael McIntyre at a studio in Nevada. The band’s last concert in Romania, in 2008, also at Romexpo, was with another British hard rock legend, Def Leppard. In 1997, Whitesnake performed at Sala Palatului. Both concerts were opened by veteran local rockers, Iris.
Whitesnake emerged in 1977 and owe much of their success to lead singer David Coverdale, who also performed with Deep Purple in the 1970s.
