Bucharest Days are starting today, the Enescu festival is continuing with a prestigious lineup, Antipa Museum is re-opening, while a Book Street project is opening on Saturday. We lined up the main events going on in Bucharest this weekend, you can choose from the outline bellow.

 

 

 

 

 

Museums 

September 17

The national Grigore Antipa Natural History Museum will reopen its permanent exhibition on September 17. The museum closed for renovation in January 2009. Info touch screens, 3D screenings, constellation projections and the reorganization of the over two million exhibits are just part of the Natural History Museum’s facelift.

Outdoor events

September 17 – 24

Book Street

The Central University Library Carol I in Bucharest hosts the Book Street (Strada de C’arte) project. The open-air event takes place on C.A. Rosetti, Boteanu and Golescu Streets and will fill these pedestrian areas with theater, music, painting and film events.

 

Bucharest Days

The Bucharest City Hall is organizing this weekend the Bucharest Days, a series of events celebrating the capital city’s 552 documented anniversary. The city’s historic center, the Herastrau park, and the Constitutiei square are the main areas where open-air, free events will be organized.
