Tuesday, After Christmas premieres in Romania on September 16

Tuesday, After Christmas, the Radu Muntean infidelity drama nominated in the Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes film festival, will premiere locally on September 17.

Very well received by film critics worldwide, with glowing reviews in publications including Variety, LA Times and Liberation, Tuesday, After Christmas tells the story of Paul Hanganu (played by Mimi Branescu), a man involved romantically with two women, one of whom he has to split with before Christmas. The movie has enjoyed standing ovations at film festivals across Romania, such as TIFF and Anonimul.

Mirela Oprisor won Best Actress at the Sarajevo Film Festival for her role of Paul Hanganu’s wife. Another big name involved in the film’s distribution is top Romanian actor Victor Rebengiuc. After its premiere on September 16, Tuesday, After Christmas will appear in cinemas across the country.
