Tea & Coffee Festival, on its second run in the capital city

Newsroom 07/09/2010 | 16:17

The second edition of the Tea&Coffee Festival takes place between September 6 and 12, at Palatul Sutu and several other locations across Bucharest.

The festival will consist of a series of events promoting tea and coffee consumption, as well as the rituals that accompany their serving. New tendencies from countries with a tradition in the field, such as Brazil, Japan, India, Italy, Turkey and England, will also take the spotlight at the Tea & Coffee Festival.

Between 10 – 12 September, Palatul Sutu (Bucharest City Museum) will host an exhibit of tea, coffee and specific accessories. Visitors will thus have the possibility to choose and test different flavors of coffee and tea available at the over twenty stands exhibited at the festival. On September 11, Palatul Sutu will also host a fashion show in its courtyard.

Other locations in Bucharest also take part in the Tea & Coffee Fstival. Starting Monday, the exhibit “The Coffee Syndrome” by Andrei Tanase will be on display at Cafepedia, Romana location. At the same hour, but in separate days, other cafes will include events dedicated to coffee and tea rituals across the world: Great Britain (September 7, at Gradina Verona – Carturesti), Italy (September 8, at Grand Café Galleron), Argentina (September 9, at Serendipity) and Japan (September 10, at Rendez-vous, in the old center).

Access to all of the festival’s events is free of charge.
