Burger King Romania, operated by AmRest, one of the largest European restaurant and food service platforms, announces the expansion of its range of chicken products by launching a new product – King Wings, American-style cooked chicken wings. The new product is available in all 9 Burger King restaurants, as well through partner delivery apps – Tazz, Glovo, FoodPanda and Takeaway.com, starting today, November 19.
King Wings are marinated in a special sauce, slightly spicy, and don’t have flour crust. Although they could be the most smokey, spicy, crispy chicken wings, Burger King describes the new product in an authentic way: it’s just chicken, which means it goes well with all the sauces in the Burger King menu.

A few months ago, we launched Plant-Based products for Burger King fans who prefer meat-free products, but who still want to feel the taste and consistency of the meat. This time we aim to meet the consumption preferences of chicken lovers – so we decided to bring King Wings to Romania. The continous expansion of the range of chicken products is one of the priorities of Burger King restaurants in the coming period. Currently, the Burger King menu also includes many chicken-based products: Chicken TenderCrisp, Chicken Wrap, Chicken Royale, Crispy Chicken, Chicken Nuggets.
In the last three months, Burger King has recorded:
- Over 220,000 chicken products sold
- Over 22,000 kg of chicken sold
- The best chicken product on the Burger King menu sold: Crispy Chicken Burger
Burger King continues to ensure a safe environment in all the space available in its venues and respects the health safety conditions through a whole set of measures meant to protect customers and staff. Table seating respects all the social distancing measures imposed by the authorities, the tables being disinfected after each customer. At each cash register or at the entrance to the restaurant, customers can sanitize their hands using the disinfectants available in dedicated dispensers.
