After inaugurating two new restaurants a week apart, AmRest, one of the largest European restaurant and food service platforms, opens its third restaurant in Bucharest in just one month. The new Burger King restaurant is located in Piața Sudului area.

By opening the Burger King restaurant in Piata Sudului, Bucharest, the company achieves its final objective of the strategic plan to have six new restaurants on the Romanian market in the first year after the opening. This is Burger King’s third restaurant to open in September.

The new restaurant is located on Sergent Nițu Vasile Boulevard, No. 1, Sector 4, Piața Sudului and will have a team of 40 grill kings. As always, the company took all safety and hygiene measures in preparing all orders: from containers with disinfectant in all key points of the restaurant, to equipping employees with masks and gloves.

“We have reached one of the most important objectives that we set when entering the Romanian market, namely to have six Burger King restaurants open in the first year after the inauguration. We are happy with this results, especially since this year has come with many challenges due to the Covid-19 crisis. But we mobilized quickly and this did not turn our plans upside down, but on the contrary. Together with a well-cohesive team, we managed to achieve our goals and, moreover, to have three new restaurant openings in only one month” said Daniel Ryska, AmRest Regional Director CE & SEE.

Burger King provides fans with all the available space that follow the conditions and a whole set of measures in order to protect them. The sitting at the table respects all the social distance measures imposed by the authorities and are disinfected after each serving. At each cash register or at the entrance of the restaurant, customers will be able to disinfect themselves with the solutions available in dedicated containers.
