Nicolae Grigorescu’s Bullock Cart will be auctioned for over EUR 200,000

Works by Grigorescu, Luchian and Ressu, among other artists, will be put up for sale at the end of this month as part of a Romanian Impressionism and Postimpressionism auction organized by Artmark. The art is worth over EUR 1 million in total, with the flagship piece being Grigorescu’s Bullock Cart, a painting estimated to be worth over EUR 200,000. The 127 works going under the hammer are on show in the Bucharest National Opera House, at 70-72 Mihail Kogalniceanu Boulevard, until September 30.
