The Madrigal Choir will perform the closing show of the Sibiu International Theatre Festival (FITS), titled “Rituals,” on Sunday by the lake at the ASTRA Museum.

The Madrigal Choir, under the direction of Anna Ungureanu, the Sibiu International Theatre Festival, and the ASTRA Museum present to the public the Extraordinary Show ‘Rituals.’ This outdoor performance will close the 31st edition of FITS on June 30, starting at 21:00 by the lake in Dumbrava Forest at the ASTRA Museum in Sibiu. After the Madrigal Choir concert, various sequences dedicated to rituals will be staged at the ASTRA Museum until 01:00 in the night. Cantus Mundi children’s choirs from the National Program will be present at the ASTRA Museum, including “Waldorf” Iași, conductor Daniel Popa; “Unirea” Focșani, conductor Ana-Maria Rusu; the Choir of the Greek-Catholic High School “Iuliu Maniu” Oradea, conductor Nicoleta Țâmpu; and “Junior Vip & Vox Infantes” Cluj-Napoca, conductor Anca Mariaș.
