The 9th edition of Electric Castle is ready to begin on July 19th, on the 40 hectares of Banffy Estate, with 12 stages, a camping area for 20,000 festivalgoers, and 300 artists in the lineup. To ensure a worry-free experience, the organizers have released a guide with all the details regarding access and useful information for participants.

Starting today, July 10th, festival passes can be exchanged for access bracelets at designated points in Bucharest (AFI Cotroceni and Baneasa Shopping City) or in Cluj-Napoca (Iulius Mall). Additionally, the bracelet can be ordered to any address in Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest, Brasov, and Timisoara through the Tazz platform. The pre-swap points will remain open until the first day of the festival, and afterward, the procedure can only be done on-site at the festival. Bracelets for minors can only be obtained at the festival entrance.

Compared to last year, the organizers have increased the number of buses by 30% and the capacity of the EC trains by 50%, making them the easiest and fastest way to reach the festival. The waiting time during peak hours will be approximately 30 minutes. Tickets can be purchased in advance from here, and participants have access to a dedicated WhatsApp line to report any transport-related issues.

Those who choose to come to the castle by car are encouraged to carpool with their friends. Cars with all seats occupied will receive free parking, and passengers can win various prizes through the Carpooling by OMV initiative.

The EC experience is 100% cashless. Bracelet top-up can be done online, in the user account created on electriccastle.ro, as well as on-site at dedicated counters, with cash or card.

The festival has its own supermarket, over 35 restaurants, and even a grill area for those who want to prepare their own meals. Access with food and water is allowed only for those staying in the EC Village, as long as the products are not packaged in glass containers. Cameras & video equipment, laptops, medications, flags & selfie sticks, and sealed plastic water bottles are allowed for entry into the festival and camping areas. The following items are not allowed in any area of the festival: drugs, knives and blades, weapons, explosives, alcohol, animals, bicycles, skateboards, umbrellas, musical instruments, graffiti, stickers, advertising materials, garden furniture, sound systems, drones.

All information can be found in detail on the EC website, and for further questions, the FAQ page can be consulted. Tickets for Electric Castle 9, access to the camping area, and the last available accommodation structures can be purchased at www.electriccastle.ro.
