The party organized by TBF and Răzvan Căzănescu takes the form of a recurring festival for the Romanian entrepreneurial world with the mission to provide Romanian entrepreneurs with the systems and tools to grow their businesses internationally. This year’s edition took place on 10 December at the Palace of Parliament and brought together 400 Romanian entrepreneurs who share the same values and are eager to evolve not only as entrepreneurs but also as a community.

Răzvan Căzănescu’s main goal for the entrepreneurs’ festival is to create a unique context in Romania for the entrepreneurial class and to contribute through his ideology to increase the productivity of Romanian companies, by developing a concrete plan independent from the decisions of the political class, through which entrepreneurs can change Romania for the next generations. The theme of this year’s party was Reinterpreted Romania and speaks to the optimism of the TBF community to change Romania for the better by using existing resources in a different way, that of efficient management.

For too long Romania has been seen as the poor citizen of Europe. We have all the resources we need in our country to become outstanding, but we need to use them in a different way. We have an extraordinary gastronomy that can easily be in the top 5 in the world. But we need modernization, international outreach, and a bit of madness – said Răzvan Căzănescu, founder of TBF.

Among the TBF partners who stood out during the TBF – Reinterpreted Romania party, are Andrei Țandără and Daniel Obretin from Spoonful who are moving towards outstanding companies that they are developing together with the TBF team in Horeca, the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra with whom the TBF team aims to bring classical music back to the forefront in a modern and reinterpreted style, and Monica Florea, who joined the TBF leadership team with the aim of building TBF New Generation.

We want foreigners to get to know Romania through modernized classical music. Together with TBF we can ensure that those who visit our country will have memorable, unique experiences that they will talk about for years to come. – said Cătălin Oprițoiu, founder of the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra

The event was structured in several speech-like passages in which TBF partners talked about how a reinterpreted Romania should be seen and what are the concrete steps to be taken to get there, broken by Romanian culinary delights with a modern twist and impressive artistic moments performed by the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra, Phoenix and Gheorghe Zamfir, the king of the flute, who played the soundtrack of Quentin Tarantino’s “Kill Bill” film “The Lonely Shepherd”.

We strongly believe that one of the most important characteristics of a country brand is its gastronomy. Together with TBF we want to build international HORECA businesses that foreigners know that delicious food sells from our landsaid Andrei Țandără and Daniel Obretin from Spoonful.

The dessert was developed by Pastry Chef Ana Consulea, founder of Zexe Brasserie, who offered the guests a unique dessert, perfectly fitting the theme of the event – Reinterpreted Romania.

It was once upon a time that a team of pastry chefs in love with the impossible. So, when they received a brief to create a special dessert for a 400-person event with the theme ” Reinterpreted Romania “, their creativity was ignited. We translated the values of the company that entrusted us with this mission, TBF, into a very special dessert. One of them suited us perfectly: we like to do unreasonable things. So, we became artists. Mircea Banu, leader of the creative team, masterfully carved each grain of wheat, the centerpiece in the dish. We created the dessert by hand, piece by piece, for the 400 guests. The coleslaw mousse and baked walnut praline insert were the surprise inside. Complemented by the chocolate walnut shells and caramelized pie sheet fan. A bold, rebellious, memorable combination that impressed every guest, said Pastry Chef Ana Consulea.

The performances by Romanian artists at the TBF Party were a real success and brought the TBF community closer together with a shared vibe and emotions of appreciation for the extraordinary personalities of Romania.

I had the happy opportunity to attend the most exquisite dinner of the year. When I accepted the invitation, I was not expecting a true musical royalty led by Maestro Daniel Jinga, Gheorghe Zamfir’s 68 years of plan flute playing, Ana Maria Rosu’s unmistakable jazz voice or the legendary Phoenix band. The music of the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra perfectly orchestrated the evening and the whole dining experience was superlative. It was an unforgettable night full of extremely valuable people of this country.said content creator Gabriela Atanasov

The TBF party was also a great opportunity to connect the intellectuals and passionate tech geniuses of Romania with entrepreneurs and business enthusiasts in the TBF community, eager to support excellence through financial contributions. Thus, Autovortex Robotics Club received a donation of 25,000 euros from the TBF community, with each participant contributing a significant amount, made possible by the specificity of the event that brings together quality people with common ideals and values. Autovortex Robotics Club aims to offer a new perspective of affirmation through robotics to young people who can create a better future for Romania, who can contribute to its digitalization and modernization process. Among the fields of activity studied and practiced by Romanians passionate about robotics in the club, we list 3D printing and design, modern construction, and JAVA programming.

The business event organized by the TBF team was a unique opportunity to connect with entrepreneurs, investors, and technology enthusiasts. We were excited to learn about new and highly visionary ways of thinking and to communicate with entrepreneurs from our country who have a forward-thinking vision of the technological future.  Thank you very much to Răzvan and the TBF team for the invitation and for all the help you gave to the AutoVortex team! said Ionuț Panea, Autovortex Robotics Club mentor.

The success of TBF 2023 speaks to the real need for Romanians eager to create connections, forge partnerships and grow in the business world, to come together in a recurring context and, why not, to set up the Romanian Entrepreneurs Festival for a common cause, that of Reinterpreted Romania. The mission of the TBF team is to come up with a solution in a market where the lack of information, the lack of communities, the chaotic culture in which entrepreneurs have grown up have left a strong imprint on the realities in which we live. The mission is to re-educate and transition the entrepreneurial community from old paradigms to clear, new and effective realities.
