nZEB Expo, the largest local event in the field of energy efficient buildings, will take place for the first time in Bucharest, from 14-16 June 2024, at Romexpo, B2 Pavilion. The event aims to inform the public about nZEB and Passive House principles, providing in one place and in an accessible way all the information needed to build correctly and sustainably. Admission to the nZEB Expo is free of charge for the public, with pre-registration on the website.

nZEB Expo aims to fundamentally change the way building is done in Romania, being a reference event in the field of energy-efficient construction, providing the public with integrated know-how about nZEB and passive house standards. Inspired by major European events in the field, the exhibition aims to become the leading event in Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, accelerating the transition to energy efficient and energy independent construction.

This year the event will have two editions – in Bucharest from 14-16 June and in Cluj-Napoca from 1-3 November. The exhibition is aimed at those who want to build or renovate their home to current energy efficiency standards, with the concept and the event’s layout to guide them through the process. Visitors will have access to key people in the industry such as architects, engineers, craftsmen, energy auditors, property developers, builders, building material manufacturers and other professionals specialising in sustainability and energy efficiency.

“nZEB Expo is an important step in the direction of sustainable construction in Romania, which is currently underdeveloped. We want this event to become a regional reference point for all those interested in energy efficiency and the buildings of the future. Our mission is to educate the public on nZEB and Passive House principles, providing them with the necessary information to build correctly and sustainably, and to guide them through the whole process of achieving energy efficient construction. In the long term, we aim to play a significant role in accelerating the transition to nZEB and passive buildings by bringing together all relevant industry stakeholders and promoting the latest technologies and materials in sustainable building,” said Marius Șoflete, passive house design engineer and co-organiser of nZEB Expo.

nZEB Expo, for the first time in Bucharest – over 15,000 people expected

For the first time in the Capital, nZEB Expo will take place from 14-16 June 2024, at Romexpo, B2 Pavilion, where more than 15,000 specialists and people interested in energy efficient buildings are expected. Previous editions have attracted a record number of participants: 10,500 people visited the exhibition, interacting with the 150 exhibitors and benefiting from the knowledge of 70 speakers. There were also more than 40 thematic workshops, totalling more than 48 hours of know-how offered to participants.
