Marius Cristea, Senior Urban Development Specialist at the World Bank Group, will join BR’s Rising Cities. Smart Future event on November 27, as a guest speaker. He will hold a keynote speech after the first morning panel.
Marius Cristea is one of the authors of the World Bank report “Magnet cities: migration and commuting in Romania.” He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and a Ph.D. in Geography (Territorial planning) from the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna, Austria. He has also obtained certifications as a project manager, trainer, communication expert and non-reimbursable funds absorption expert. Marius also worked at the North-West Regional Development Agency for over five years, where he worked on strategic planning, innovation and SME development projects.
