Bucharest Opera hosts live broadcast of Paris Opera Faust

After the live broadcast of London’s Covent Garden Faust, the Bucharest Opera House will host a live broadcast of the same opera from the Paris National Opera. The event will take place Monday, October 10th, and will feature Roberto Alagna (pictured) in the leading role.

Besides the Italian-born French tenor, the cast is made up of Inva Mula as Margareta, Paul Gay as Mefisto, Tassis Christoyannis as Valentin, Alexander Duhamel as Wagner, Angélique Noldus as Siebel, and Marie-Ange Todorovitch as Martha.

The brodcast starts at 20.30 and lasts approximately four hours, with two breaks. The price of one ticket is RON 45. Tickets are on sale at the Bucharest Opera House, from Monday to Sunday between 9.00-13.00 and 15.00-19.00 and online at www.operanb.ro. The event is supported by the Association Friends of Opera.
