One of the last decade’s best known indie rock bands, British Sea Power are coming to Bucharest on June 8, at Silver Church Club.
British Sea Power have performed at some of the most important festivals in Great Britain, as Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds, T in the Park and Bestival. They were referred to as “the future of rock” by the Entertainment Weekly publication or as the “best bad in Great Britain” by the Sunday Times.
The band has so far released five albums, with their latest, Valhalla Dancehall, available in Romania in Carturesti libraries and the Off the Record store. In 2008, British Sea Power has received a nomination at the Mercury Music Prize with their third album. The band, which currently has a six-member lineup, has so far released five albums.
British Sea Power concert in Bucharest is organized by OneDay. Tickets may be purchased in advance at a fee of RON 50 online, on Eventim.ro, or in the Eventim network: Orange, Vodafone, Germanos or Domo stores, Humanitas and Carturesti bookstores, at Control Club (Academiei, 19) and at the Off the Record store (Blanari, 14). In the evening of the event, tickets will cost RON 65.
