Axl Rose announces cancellation of all future concerts on his Twitter account

Guns n’ Roses frontman, Axl Rose, has written on his Twitter account, in his most recent post, issued on Sunday evening, that “All upcoming Guns N’ Roses dates are officially cancelled. Please contact your place of purchase for any refunds”. A Guns n’ Roses concert is scheduled for September 21^st, in Bucharest

D&D East Entertainment, the Guns n’ Roses concert organizers in Romania, have not currently issued an official response. According to speculations across the Internet, the artist’s official Twitter account might have been broken and the statement might not have been issued by Rose himself.

The concert in Romania is the band’s first to be held here and has been much anticipated by fans. Although not in the original line-up that has made Guns n’ Roses one of the best known and sold bands of the late 1980s and early 1990s, the band continues to tour worldwide to large audiences. Of the original line-up, Axl Rose remains the most important initial member, along with Dizzy Reed, who has performed with the band since the 1990s.

On the Guns n’ Roses official website, the concert in Bucharest is still announced, at the Romexpo venue. Concert tickets are available in the Eventim chain, as stated on D & D East Entertainment’s website.

UPDATE: According to www.billboard.com, Axl Rose’s Twitter account was hacked, quoting concert organizers in Britain. The message, however, continues to be shown on Twitter.
