A consortium led by Sysware Systems Integration has won the RON 36.5 million contract for the realization of the first stage of the eRomania 1 portal, according to the site e-licitatie.ro, quoted by Hotnews. The first stage of eRomania will include 13 sub-portals: e-Justice, e-Tourism, e-Agriculture, e-Environment, e-Transportation, e-SMEs, e-Public Servants, e-Culture, E-Statistics, E-Education, E-Citizen, E-Association and E-Health.
The consortium is made up of Sysware Systems Integration, Total Soft, Provision Software Division, Star Storage, Softwin and Teamnet International.Led by Sysware, it was the only participant in the public bid organized by the Ministry of Communications.
This aim of the portal is to modernize the state and improve relations between it and citizens, to whom the state will provide public services in electronic format. The eRomania strategy was approved by the government in March. The strategy stipulates that RON 245.1 million will be allocated this year. In 2011, the sum will rise to RON 714.5 million, in 2012 it will fall back to RON 575.8 million and in 2013 the allocation will be RON 364.8 million.
