Driling company Dafora wins contract in Ukraine

The Romanian drilling company Dafora has inked a contract with Krim Petroleum Company (KPC), the Ukrainian partner of Tiway company.

The drilling contract will be carried out in Crimea region and it end December 31 this year. The woks will be done with a 400 tone modern drilling unit.

It is not the first time when Dafora work on the Ukraine market. The company has been contracted to drill for two wells in 2007 and 2008.

Local businessman Gheorghe Calburean controls 48.58 percent of Dafora. The company, which is listed on Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) – registered EUR 44 million turnover and EUR 350,000 in net profit last year.
