Construction firm Octagon has started to construct building C of the Hermes Business Campus under a EUR 6.2 million contract. The project is developed in northern Bucharest by NGY Properties Investments, the Romanian subsidiary of Belgian group Atenor.
The construction company has completed this summer the first stage of the project, acting as general contractor for building B, which has 37,000 sqm and has been fully leased.
“The construction of building C started in September, and now we are in the stage of working on special foundations,” said Alexandros Ignatiadis, Octagon’s owner.
The Romanian company has started to work on this project in 2010 as infrastructure contractor, and took over the role of general contractor in 2013 from Austrian construction firm Alpine, which went into administration.
