English pianist Ronan O’Hara, graduate of Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, will perform in Bucharest on November 25. All the proceeds will go to the benefit of the Neonatology Intensive Care Section of the Marie Curie Hospital, where a device that detects deafness from the stage of pregnancy will be purchased.
The event is organized by the Genesys Foundation, supporting the initiative taken by the doctor Catalin Cirstoveanu, chief of the Neonatology Intensive Care Section of the Marie Curie Hospital. The event is also supported by canoeing Olympic champion Valeria Racila van Groningen.
Part of O’Hara’s performance will be compositions by Beethovem, Brahms, Wagner, Liszt and Schubert. Ronan O’Hara is considered to be one of the most acclaimed piano players in the world.
The concert will take place at Sala Radio (The Radio Hall), in Bucharest, on General Berthelot Street, 60 – 64, starting at 19.30. Tickets are available for purchase on www.eventim.ro, at Vodafone, Orange, Germanos, Domo stores or directly at Sala Radio.
