Mihai Mares (pictured), former office managing partner of Garrigues Romania, together with the firm’s team of lawyers will join Musat & Asociatii following the Spanish company’s decision to close its Bucharest office and relocate operations to Warsaw.
“We are thus strengthening our relation with Iberian clients, who traditionally have an important share in the firm’s portfolio. Also, Spain remains one of the most dynamic foreign investors to Romania, mainly in fields such as infrastructure, constructions and green energy”, said Mona Musat, co-managing partner Musat & Asociatii.
Mares has been managing the Garrigues office in Bucharest for the last two years. He holds ten years of professional experience, having expertise in mergers and acquisitions, energy, infrastructure and public- private partnerships.
