Metrorex takes first step for the development of RON 2.26 billion subway line

The subway operator Metrorex announced that it has published the notice of intent for the “Line 5 – Drumul Taberei – Pantelimon. Tronsonul Eroilor – Staţia Piaţa Iancului” project.

The estimated value of the contract for the new subway line reaches RON 2.26 billion, the sum being provided from both the state budget and foreign loan.

The estimated duration for the project is of 30 months from the moment the contract will be awarded.
