Conceived as an interactive manifestation, the first edition of book fair Bookland will take place in AFI Palace Cotroceni, in Bucharest, between April 15-17. Over 150 publishing houses are expected at the fair and an attendance of 350,000, considering the shopping center’s estimate traffic of 70,000 visitors during weekdays and 100,000 during weekends.
The first “urban” book fair is organized by More Than Pub PR agency, after a total investment of EUR 300,000, which will hopefully be recovered from the first edition. Bookland will thus become the third book fair of the capital city, the other ones being Bookfest, taking place in June and Gaudeamus, in November.
