Anda Manza (pictured) is the new country manager of Chellomedia, the content division of Liberty Global. She will replace Dorian Ciubuc who has decided to leave the company to pursue other business opportunities. Manza will be responsible for the management and onward development of Chello Central Europe channel portfolio across Romania.
Ciubuc has served with Chello Central Europe (and previously Zone Vision and Chellozone) for over 15 years and has playeded in important role in bringing and developing brands like Minimax, Discovery, Hallmark (now Universal Channel), Zone Reality, Sport1 and others on the Romanian market.
Manza started her career in the cable business in 1993 at Kappa Servexim. Between 1995 and 1998 she worked for the Romanian National Television. In 1998 she returned to Kappa as sales and marketing director responsible for both television and internet. In 2000 Kappa was acquired by Astral where she held various roles. She was holding the position of marketing and sales director until 2006 when Astral was acquired by UPC. Between 2006 and 2008 Manza developed her own company and was marketing director in the U TV music channel and later in DCS.
