Gli Studiosi di Sebastiano, together with special guest cellist Ciprian Campean, will hold a concert dedicated to the chamber music creation of German composer Georg Friedrich Handel on March 25, in Bucharest. Seven arias of Handel’s Neun Deutsche Arien will be the highlight of the evening, bearing the influence of the composer’s time spent in Italy, Germany and England.
Shorter compositions bearing Handel’s signature will also be part of the evening’s program. The concert, included in the second season of Bucharest’s Old Music festival, starts at 19.00 hours, on Mrach 25, in the Byzantine Hall (Sala Bizantina) of the National Military Circle.
