Ambient grows to EUR 105 million turnover in 2010

Romanian DIY retailer Ambient reported a EUR 105 million turnover for 2010, EUR 2 million more than in 2010, the company announced. According to company representatives, the results are the outcome of the business restructuring process started in 2009.

Ambient is currently made up of two divisions targeting the company’s main types of clients: Retail and Distribution. The retail division is made up of 12 commercial centers, while the distribution one covers 11 work points and construction materials warehouses.

The company, which is entirely Romanian owned, was established in 1993 and opened its first DYI store in 2002 in Sibiu.
