Timisoara train station in Heineken commercial

The newest Heineken commercial related to the “Skyfall” movie, the most recent in the James Bond series, features several frames of the Timisoara train station, which were added to the spot filmed at the Shepperton studios. The commercial will be presented in 170 countries worldwide.

The production team succeeded to transform the Romanian train station into a winter location, although there were 28 degrees outside at the time of filming.

The ad features Daniel Craig bringing his explosive portrayal of James Bond to a Heineken ad for the very first time. Challenging consumers to defy his enemies and ‘Crack the Case’, viewers will be taken on an epic train journey alongside stunning Bond newcomer Bérénice Marlohe.

The ‘Crack the Case’ campaign was created by advertising agency Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam. The TV campaign ad was directed by award winning Dutch filmmaker Matthijs Van Heijningen Jnr.
