Math center to open in Bucharest

Starting October 1, senior high-school students who prepare for the baccalaureate exam can study mathematics at the Bucur Maths Center (Centrul Bucur de Matematica), the first private center dedicated exclusively for studying mathematics for this exam.

Bucur Maths Center is located in an office building in the city center, and has a complete library of mathematics books and an online studying platform. The center will be opened from October to June and will provide two courses per week. Students will be divided in groups of nine students for the first lesson of the week, usually the theoretical one and for the second, the groups will be of three students.

This center will also provide information for parents on their children’s educational performance through an online platform.

For this year, 50 students are expected to follow the courses of Bucur Maths Center. The selection of the students will be made based on an interview. The applications are opened until September 30.
