Starting Friday, July 26, the Urban Fountains at Unirii Square will host a spectacular new show titled “Symphony of Champions,” featuring 150 drones. These events mark the centennial of Romania’s first Olympic medal.
For the first time, visitors can experience a breathtaking drone show representing various sports disciplines on the weekend of July 26, 27, and 28. The “Symphony of Champions” will grace the Urban Fountains at Unirii Square every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Each show, lasting approximately 45 minutes, will commence at 9:30 PM in July, 9:00 PM in August, and 8:00 PM in September.
Traffic Advisory: During these performances, traffic will be restricted on Unirii Boulevard, between Dimitrie Cantemir Boulevard and Splaiul Independenței (fountain area). Admission is free for all visitors.

The Urban Fountains at Unirii Square were modernized and reopened in 2018, thanks to a rehabilitation project coordinated by Apa Nova with support from the Bucharest City Hall. Last year, the water, music, and light shows celebrated the 120th anniversary of the first performance of “Romanian Rhapsody.” These unique music, color, and 3D technology shows ran until October 1.
