Neakaisa.ro launches Rune, its own brand of Scandinavian-inspired sanitary products, with an investment of EUR 150,000

Neakaisa.ro, online business with sanitary and home improvement products, launches its first range of own brand products – Rune. From the creation of the brand to the selection, production and listing of the products, the total investment amounts to more than 150,000 euros. The company estimates that the new range will contribute 2-3% to the turnover by the end of this year, and by 2030 it will generate around 10% of Neakaisa.ro’s revenue.

 

Inspired by the Nordic mythology, Rune will include sanitary products – basins, toilets, bidets, freestanding bathtubs, rails and valves, and will be completed with walk-in shower screens and other verticals in time. In addition to design attributes, which include popular sizes for Romanian bathrooms and ergonomic shapes to maximise space efficiency, the new range is designed with quality and durability in focus.

“The launch of Rune came as a natural step in the further development of our business. We started as an online shop, strengthened our position in the market, established our first showroom and are now now developing our own brand of sanitary products. The plan for the launching started to take form as of 2020, as we somehow felt the need for products with distinctive design, balanced prices and better than average quality. Since then we have started to outline the market needs and to work on product categories and ranges”, explains Laura Sardescu, Co-Founder Neakaisa.ro.

The Rune products are chosen by Neakaisa.ro specialists following the current trends and the specific needs of the Romanian market, especially in terms of size, design and functionality. The Scandinavian style, drawn from the Nordic mythology, is characterized by features that, in addition to providing comfort, also enhance the mood – mysticism, self-connection and attunement with the natural environment.

The Scandinavian design is an important layer in the Neakaisa.ro portfolio, following the company’s values of finding products that reflect a balanced lifestyle, with an emphasis on well-deserved relaxation and quiet moments.

10% on turnover by 2030

For the current year, Neakaisa.ro forecasts that the new product range will contribute around 2-3% to the turnover, with this percentage increasing progressively over the coming years. According to development projects, in 5 years it should stabilize at 8%, and by 2030 it should contribute around 10% to the company’s revenue.
