MOCAPP launches L!NK, an innovative tech solution for the European eCommerce market

MOCAPP, the largest Influencer Marketing platform in Romania, launches a new tech solution for the eCommerce players in the international market. The new L!NK app uses a unique algorithm, which anonymously scans the customer bases of online stores.

 

Moreover,  it allows them to find out which of their customers are popular on Social Media and can be most effectively involved in the promotion, loyalty, affiliation, and sales. The initial investment in the development of L!NK amounts to 120,000 euros, and the startup aims to attract customers from 30 countries, as well as break-even on this product after the first year since its launch.

“In 2021 we made our debut in the markets of Spain, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Bulgaria, and this year we are targeting the entire European market with the help of this new proprietary application. L!NK is a technology product based on complex research into global trends and digital consumer behavior, and allows marketing teams to increase the impact of their sales campaigns, attract new customers, and improve brand confidence, regardless of the geographical location of the consumers or the size of the databases”, says Florin Grozea, MOCAPP manager.

With the help of the application installed in the control panel of the online store, brands can easily identify and monitor which of their customers are influential on Social Media and can become ambassadors with credibility and impact. Automating these processes means saving time in managing customer bases, quickly scanning hundreds of thousands of data, as well as the ability to react and interact in real-time with influencers who appreciate the store and buy products naturally.

“The proprietary L!NK algorithm is unique in Europe and has the potential to be registered as an international patent. Our software aggregates complex data in real-time, as well as analyzing it, and dividing the details about each customer into 40 analysis points, in order to compose a scoring system that currently has an accuracy of 98.5%. The percentage increases as the algorithm scans more data and we estimate that it will reach 99.9% after the threshold of 1 million scans, which we will reach in June-July 2022”, mentions Cosmin Gheorghilă, Lead Developer MOCAPP.

The application is compatible with any online store in Shopify, the most popular eCommerce platform in the world.

The global Shopify market is estimated at over $ 200 billion a year, with 3.6 million companies in 150 countries using the Canadian platform. The L!NK launch version has already been validated by over 100 online stores in the UK, Italy, Brazil, Canada, the United States, and Romania, which installed it in the first weeks after launch. For the development of the business, MOCAPP has attracted, in the last 2 years, over 600,000 euros from private investors, including Roca X and Netopia, in several rounds of financing.

The next step in the startup’s growth strategy is the company’s entry into the UK market, the European leader in online commerce, a move it intends to fund through a new round of investment in 2022.

Last year, MOCAPP had a turnover of almost € 200,000, and the platform ran campaigns worth € 470,000. In 2021 as well, the number of influencers present in MOCAPP exceeded 1,000, from 9 countries.
