GTM Managing Services launches Carfix Connect, a B2B online platform for professionals in the automotive industry

GTM Managing Services, the Romanian company that developed the Carfix mobile application for personal car management, announces the launch of Carfix Connect, a complete ecosystem of business to business solutions for professionals in the automotive industry. 

Carfix Connect (carfixconnect.ro) is an online platform that facilitates direct collaboration between companies involved in car damage, repair or sales flows. The platform is intended for insurers, insurance brokers, car repairers, leasing companies and car dealers. 

According to the developers, Carfix Connect brings together in a single cloud platform all the administration and management flows necessary for professionals in the automotive industry and is the most complex platform of its kind on the Romanian market.

It covers all the essential processes needed by companies in the automotive industry, the most important of which are: 

• instant calculation of the cost of repairs and overhauls; 
• manage damage files;  
• ordering spare parts; 
• management of used cars from purchase to sale; 

• establishing the market value of cars; 
• estimating fleet maintenance costs;

Carfix Connect is integrated with Carfix App, the application for 100% online car damage management, and allows companies to instantly connect with partners, suppliers and customers in one place. 

Buying and selling used cars is much easier with the help of the dedicated module in the platform, which fully covers the circuit traveled by a car from entry into stock to sale. It is a flow already validated by more than 60% of the Renault Selection dealer network, the Renault Group’s used car sales network, which has adopted the solution since the testing phase. 

“The idea of the platform arose from the need identified in the market to bring in the same place all the necessary processes for companies operating in the field, whether they are leasing companies, dealers, repairers or insurers. Until now, companies used two or more platforms for different processes, which made their activity more difficult. The Carfix Connect solution has already been adopted in over 60% of the Renault Selection network, since the testing period, which validates the need for such a platform and its efficiency”, Sorin Iacob, CEO of GTM Managing Services, also told us. 

The development of the Carfix Connect platform lasted 16 months and was carried out with an investment of 275,000 euros. The use of the platform by companies in the automotive sector is possible based on a monthly subscription whose value starts from 150 euros without VAT. The company’s representatives estimate that in 2022, the Carfix Connect platform will be used by over 100 companies and will generate total revenues of approximately 300,000 euros.
