Rominserv Valves Iaifo Zalau allocated USD 500.000 for investments this year

Rominserv Valves Iaifo Zalau, a manufacturer of industrial fittings and safety valves, that is part of the Rompetrol Group, has invested USD 500.000 this year for optimizing productions fluxes and reducing resources consumption as well as improving environmental safety.

“The total value of investments made between 2006-2010 totals approximately USD 3.5 million, while another USD 540.000 will be allocated for environmental investments”, stated Ioan David, general director of Valves IAIFO Zalau.  

The company allocated USD 900.0000, between 2006-2010, for environmental projects, one of them consisting of the closing of the industrial waste deposit in Criseni, Salaj County.

Rominserv Valves Iaifo Zalau has registered a net turnover of USD 6 million at end-August, which is a 20 percent increase compared to the similar period of 2010. The company estimates a turnover of USD 10 million at end-2011. In the same time frame, the operational result increased by 27 percent to USD 120.771 versus the similar period of 2010.

Rominserv Iaifo has provided fittings for the extension of the Petromidia refinery and is undergoing partnerships with GEA Grasso (Germany), POLNA (Poland) and SYSMEC (Romania).
