Orange Romania launches TV and radio streaming application

Telecom operator Orange Romania has launched an application that allows its clients to watch TV shows and listen to the radio. The application can be downloaded free of charge from Android market or from the Orange portal.

The application offers clients the opportunity to watch live on the mobile phone 17 TV stations as well as contains a catalogue with recordings of sports, entertainment shows and music videos.

TV from Orange can be used via a 3G or Wi-Fi connection.

The application will also be available soon free of charge also for iPhone and Ipad users under the name TV Live from Orange.

“Clients ask for more and more dedicated applications and developers are confronted with new opportunities and challenges. Definitely the Romanian market of applications is growing at a fast rate, with the sale of smartphones. Orange will continue to create local applications, especially created for the needs of the Romanian public,” says Tudor Juravlea, Product Manager, Orange Romania.
