Carrefour Romania’s sales increased by 10.6 percent in Q1 2018 at constant exchange rates and an increase by 7.7 percent like-for-like, driven by an increase in volumes, to EUR 486 million, VAT included, according to a report of the Company
„In Poland, total sales were up +5.7 percent at constant exchange rates (-0.8 percent like-for-like), while strong momentum continued in Romania, with sales growth of +10.6 percent at constant exchange rates and +7.7 percent like-for-like, driven by an increase in volumes,” says the report.
There were less favorable markets overall in Europe, notably due to adverse weather conditions impacting more specifically non-food and hypermarkets.
The total Q1 2018 Sales of Carrefour group increased by 2.6 percent at constant – exchange rates and dynamic markets.
