Sprider Stores upgrades its store in Iris Shopping Center

Sprider Stores has announced it has extended the surface of its store in the Iris Shopping Center. The 1,100 sqm store becomes the retailer’s first local unit to cover two floors. Total investments in the store since 2008 amount to more than EUR 1.5 million, according to the company.

“Sprider Stores in presently in the process of upgrading all of its stores as well as extending its most successful units,” said Konstantinos Pipinelis, general manager of Sprider Stores Romania.

Sprider Stores has entered the Romanian market back in 2007 after opening its first store in City Mall. It now operates 17 units in cities like Bucharest, Cluj, Timisoara, Buzau, Pitesti, Bacau, Iasi, Suceava and Targu Mures. So far, total investments in the local network amount to over EUR 20 million according to the company. The Greek fashion retailer has 115 stores in the Balkan region. It runs operations in Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Cyprus, Poland and the Republic of Macedonia.
