French telecom operator Orange said that Yves Martin will take over the role of chief marketing officer as of May 1.
He will coordinate the marketing activities, online, TV, customer insights, brand & communication, as well as the new business lines: fixed telecom services and Orange Money, according to a press release.
Martin has an experience of 19 years in the telecom industry. He has started working for France Telecom Mobile in 1997, and between 2000 and 2014 he has held various positions within Orange. He was group device director, chief of staff for senior vice president in Europe, chief sales officer, chief marketing officer for Orange Switzerland and vice president for Orange Group roaming.
Prior to coming to Romania, Martin was vice president for marketing in the Home and Convergence segments at Orange France.
Orange Romania is currently redesigning its management structure, which will focus on the following areas: Marketing, which will be coordinated by Yves Martin, Sales & Distribution, headed by Claudiu Dragomir, Business to Business, which will be coordinated by Florin Popa, and Customer Service, which will be managed by Irina Matea.
The current commercial director of Orange Romania, Julien Ducarroz, will become the CEO of Orange Moldova as of May 1.
