Young people learn to be entrepreneurs with the help of mentors

The targets are young people, high-school or faculty graduates, aged between 18 and 35, who plan to set up a company within at most six months after participating in the program or who have already done so in the six months before the start of the scheme. The program is based on one-on-one training as each participant will have his or her own personal mentor, spending two weeks at the latter's office.
The mentors are also young entrepreneurs who have founded successful start-ups in various domains. “The idea of this project came to me after I met many young people who were at the beginning of their entrepreneurial career and needed advice and opinions about the various aspects of a start-up. I realized after meeting them how useful it is to share from your own experience about the challenges and difficulties of raising an organization that a person at the beginning of the road has to face,” said Tudor Maxim, the manager of the JCI project in Bucharest.
The project aims to make a contribution to the development of entrepreneurship among young people in Romania and support them in their initiatives through transfer of know-how, mentorship and training. Young existing and future entrepreneurs will be networking as part of this program.
Participation in this program is free of charge and those who are willing can subscribe on the blog of the project www.tineriantreprenori.ro.
