Bergenbier, the third largest player on the local beer market in Romania, named Mihaela Hristea as new marketing director.
The new marketing director has set goals to accelerate business outcomes with a focus on developing a top team, redefining processes within the marketing department, and building strong, consistent brand messages and consumer experience.
Mihaela Hristea has worked at Molson Coors Romania since September 2015, when she joined the marketing team as senior brand manager Bergenbier.
Between August 2017 and August 2018, he held the position of Brand & Consumer Excellence Marketing Manager at sister company – Kamenitza A.D. – from Bulgaria, part of Molson Coors, where he coordinated the marketing team and the brand strategy and communication strategy for the entire portfolio.
Mihaela Hristea graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies – Bucharest.
Bergenbier operates in Romania since 1994 and is part of the Molson Coors Brewing Company. The company currently has a production unit in Ploiesti and employs about 600 people.
The portofolio of the company includes Bergenbier – Blonde Beer, Blank Beer without Alcohol, Fresh Lemon and Fresh Grapefruit and Noroc, as well as international brands produced local like Staropramen, Stella Artois, Beck’s, Löwenbräu. Besides, the company imports Belgian specialties Leffe and Hoegaarden, as well as Mexican beer number 1 in the world, Corona.
