Mandachi Hotel & Spa, the first hotel in Romania built in a franchise system and entirely with local funds, was recently opened following an investment of about EUR 7 million.

The hotel is part of a more complex project and features an event room, a restaurant, a cafe-bookstore, a fitness room and the first bio-certified spa in the country. All of this can be franchised as a standalone brand.

Mandachi Hotel & Spa is located in the city of Suceava, it takes up an area of 8,000 sqm, it has a parking lot with over 200 spots and is set on seven levels.

The hotel is a 5-in-1 franchise concept consisting of the Magnificus Plaza, the Italian-themed Don Stefano restaurant, a cafeteria that also works as a bookstore, the Mefi Cafe & Bar, the Bum Bum Box sport and Biotransylvania Spa & Wellness. All services are also available for non-residents, for a fee.

The hotel has 90 rooms for which it has been awarded the four star rating, as well as six luxury five-star apartments. With the opening of Mandachi Hotel & Spa, 65 new jobs were created.

”We have been working for two years to implement this project, which is one of the most ambitious and complex concepts we have created over time. I wish to offer our customers a truly special experience, so we paid great attention to all the services we offer, the design, the quality of the furniture and the environment. I have thought each brand so that it can be franchised independently or packed with the hotel. This means that each brand is strong enough to show interest to potential franchisees. We have great confidence in the success of this concept, and for the future we are planning to expand the five brands at both the national and European levels,” said Stefan Mandachi, the Hotel & Spa founder.

Mandachi Hotel & Spa is a franchise project developed by SC California Holding.
