CBRE relocates HQ to newly-built office project in Aviatorilor 8

Real estate consultant CBRE will soon change its HQ to new premises within the Aviatorilor 8 office project developed by NEPI Rockcastle and located close to Victoriei Square in Bucharest. CBRE will encompass an area of nearly 1,000 sqm on the first floor of a modern office building which, along with Villa Oromolu, is part of the Aviatorilor 8 project.

The new office building will be completed no earlier than end 2018 so starting November CBRE will temporarily work in the Spaces location of Campus 6, a project developed by Skanska.

The Campus 6 project is located near the Polytechnical University in the center-western area of the capital city. For setting up its new offices CBRE has joined forces with the interior design consultancy company Morphoza. The concept has switched from the idea of futuristic offices focusing on the employee’s well-being to a more pleasant and creative environment where ultra-modern technologies mix perfectly with the most sophisticated wellness concepts.

CBRE has used its new technologies to define and optimize the space, including the use of various types of workspace applications, or the space simulation application allowing 2D and 3D-type virtual tours . Another innovative solution used in setting up the new CBRE facility is a proprietary methodology used to increase well-being, health and, implicitly, employee productivity by building professional profiles and establishing a connection between work and the environment.

The Aviatorilor 8 office building has an avant-garde design with a double curved façade that reflects Vila Oromolu, one of Bucharest’s most beautiful heritage buildings. Villa Oromolu was built in 1927 in a neoclassical, baroque and neo-neo-style mix and was restored by NEPI.

The compound is located where the Aviatorilor Boulevard crosses Paris Street in the very heart of Bucharest (CBD – Central Business District), has a total rentable area of over 7,700 sqm and a parking lot with 202 slots on three underground levels.

The four-storey office building has generous glazed surface providing abundant natural light while also offering optimal thermal insulation. Along with CBRE the tenant list includes: US General Electric, which has its headquarters at Fitbit, a US hardware and software developer, and the American company Philip Morris.
