New York Attorney General Barbara Underwood accuses Trump Foundation of violating laws governing charities

New York Attorney General Barbara Underwood filed a lawsuit against the Donald J. Trump Foundation, President Trump, and other Trump family members, according to Reuters.

The AG alleges that the foundation’s directors and officers violated laws governing charities.

The suit seeks to dissolve the foundation for “its persistent illegal conduct” and restitution of USD 2.8 million, plus penalties.
