The European Commissioner Günther H. Oettinger, responsible for budget and human resources, will be on an official visit to Bucharest on 30 October 2018. The high European official will meet with Viorica Dancila, Prime Minister of Romania, Eugen Teodorovici, Minister of Public Finance, Victor Negrescu, Deputy Minister for European Affairs.
Commissioner Oettinger will attend the high-level conference “An inclusive cohesion policy for a Union closer to the citizens” and the debate “The Road to Sibiu – A Step Closer”. He will also address participants at the “European Elections and Brexit 2019: Consequences for the EU and the EU Budget” conference.

The “Road to Sibiu – A Closer Step” Conference will take place on Tuesday 30 October at Hilton Athénée Palace, Bucharest, and is organized by the Representation of the European Commission in Romania
The “European Elections and Brexit 2019: Consequences for the EU and the EU Budget” Conference is organized by the Romanian Representation of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and will take place on Tuesday, October 30, at Hilton Hotel, Regina Maria Hall, Bucharest.
